Known for its laid-back friendly country atmosphere and fresh local produce, the spring produce market at Nethercote Hall on Saturday 26 October will be one of the year’s highlights in the Bega Valley.

In season for spring will be avocados, hazelnuts, herbs, lettuce, lemons, mandarins, onions, oranges, parsley, potatoes, rhubarb, rocket, silverbeet, snow peas and spring onions. There will be loads of eggs, cheese, honey, jams and pickles, fresh pastries, wine and delicious cakes and pies, grass fed beef and lamb, sauces, chilli products, oysters, smoked seafood and bread, all produced on Nethercote’s doorstep.  Noel and Trish Butler will also be giving a talk on bush foods with samples at 10.30am.

Doors open at 8 am for the early birds looking for the top produce, and close at 12 noon just after the raffle draw.
